HSK Test Preparation

HSK Test Preparation

HSK stands for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (汉语水平考试), the Chinese Proficiency Test, is the People’s Republic of China’s only standardized test of Standard Chinese language proficiency for non-native speakers for higher educational and professional purposes. The HSK test approximates the English TOEFL, aims to assess one’s ability to understand spoken and written Chinese, and consists of six levels: Level 1, 2, 3 (HSK Threshold); Level 4 (HSK Basic); Level 5 (HSK Elementary-Intermediate) and Level 6 (HSK Advanced). A rank of between 3 and 8 is needed to enroll in a Chinese university, depending on the subject being studied. A score of 9 or higher is considered a common business standard.

This one-to-one HSK test preparation course is for those who wish to participate and pass the HSK test. It aims to prepare the student for the HSK examination and will focus mainly on learning the different skills and strategies necessary for passing the test the first time.
